[Abstract] Aiming at the problems such as high desorption temperature, high resin viscosity and frequent shutdown of the plant during the operation of the positive pressure stripping system of vinly resin, the vacuum unit was added to make the stripping system operate under negative pressure, the stripping temperature was reduced, the steam consumption was saved, the product quality of vinly resin was improved, and the stable operation of the system was ensured.

Vinyl resin is the earliest industrial vinyl chloride (VCM) copolymer resin, and it is also a very important kind of copolymer resin. It is made by copolymerization of VCM and vinyl acetate (VAC). There are 4 commonly used preparation methods: suspension polymerization, solution polymerization, emulsion polymerization and alcoholysis. Suspension polymerization is the most important production method. The production process principle and method of suspension polymerization are basically the same as that of PVC suspension polymerization, but there is one more monomer.

In the process of production, Pangao chemical, a Chinese quality vinyl resin manufacturer, found that in order to improve the desorption effect of chloroacetate resin, reduce the residual monomer content and improve the resin quality, the stripping process was improved to reduce the residual VCM content of vinyl resin, and obvious economic and social benefits were achieved.
